AHF Nigeria actively collaborates with the Federal and States Ministries of Health and the National and States Agencies for the Control of AIDS as an Implementing Partner (IP) of Nigeria’s HIV/AIDS response.

Service provision in Nigeria commenced in August 2011 and now covers sixty-five (123) comprehensive and decentralized HIV clinics spread across six (6) states: Anambra, Benue, Cross River, Kogi, Nasarawa and FCT Abuja – and is extending to additional sites in Abuja, Cross River, Benue and Nasarawa under the Fast Track Initiative of the Federal Government of Nigeria which aims to get additional 100, 000 Nigerians on treatment.

To date, AHF Nigeria has conducted over 2 million HIV tests, distributed over 8 million condoms and awarded financial support to its partners through the AHF GRANT FUND – about $362,937 has been awarded in grants to successful CSOs and CBOs since 2012 in Nigeria.

AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF), Los Angeles-based, is a global nonprofit organization providing cutting-edge medicine and advocacy to over 1,000,000 people in 43 countries. We are currently the largest provider of HIV/AIDS medical care in the world.

AHF funds its mission to rid the world of AIDS through a network of pharmacies, thrift stores, healthcare contracts and other strategic partnerships. Generating new, innovative ways of treatment, prevention and advocacy has been the hallmark of our success.

Since 1987, AHF has cared for thousands of people living with HIV and AIDS worldwide. As we create and implement new programs in communities across the U.S. and abroad, we expand delivery of healthcare and influence over policy with the aim of saving more lives.
